MSU Graduation Set for the Weekend

Midlands State University (MSU) will be holding its graduation ceremony this weekend. The announcement was made after the university postponed twice. The graduation will be held on Saturday 2 December at the Gweru Main Campus.

MSU initially postponed its graduation ceremony during the military takeover. It then postponed for the second time for last Friday, as President Emmerson Mnangagwa was inaugurated. MSU  published a statement on it’s website which read,

“Midlands State University wishes to advise its valued stakeholders and graduands that the 2017. Graduation Ceremony will now be held on Saturday, 2nd December 2017 at the Gweru Main Campus. Graduands and guests are required to be seated by 0800hours. Graduands are encouraged to collect their invitation cards at the Gweru Main Campus, from their respective Faculty Offices. Those who are unable to collect their invitation cards by Thursday, the 30th of November 2017, can collect them on the day of Rehearsals, which is Friday, 01 December 2017. Rehearsals will commence at 1400 hours at the Gweru Main Campus.”
