Watch: Jah Prayzah Attacked At Funeral

Jah Prayzah was attacked at his late security officer, Chris Nyemba’s funeral. A video has gone viral that shows superstar being hit by attendees at the funeral.

It’s alleged that the Kutonga Kwaro star failed to contribute to his late colleague’s funeral hence the attack. However there have been several versions circling the rumour mill about why he was attacked. Jha Prayzah had attended the funeral along with members of his Third Generation band.

In the video, the tall musician is seen being pushed and chased after by a crowd at the graveyard. In one of the videos some of the mourners can be heard accusing Jah Prayzah of killing Nyemba. “Ngaabve pano apo, ane basa rei? Tinomutema. Ndiye akauraya.” (He must get away from this place. He has no business here. We will stone him. He is the one who caused his (Nyemba) death.)

Jah Prayzah’s manager Keen Mushapaidze confirmed the assault that occurred at Glen Forest Memorial Park yesterday. Mashapaidze said that Jah Prayzah has since made a report to the police concerning the incident.

“We had gone to pay our last respects when some mourners descended on us. We did not know that some mourners were aggrieved. We do not know whether it was because we did not contribute anything towards the funeral or it is because of how we severed ties with Crispen (Nyemba),” says Mashapaidze.
