Zim Rapper Cal Vin Nominated for African Award

Rapper Cal Vin is a nominee for the “Humanitarian African Prestigious Awards” (HAPA). He is nominated in the Best New Artist category. The HAPA awards will be held on 18 November 2017 at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex.

The HAPA Music Awards the “Humanitarian African Prestigious Awards” is a multi-cultural award with the sole purpose of honoring dignitaries, humanitarian acts, presidents, musicians, leaders, entrepreneurs and creative spirit of ordinary people who have captured audiences for generations and challenged our understanding through their arts and works.

In the same category as Cal Vin are Angola’s Nsoki, Souhila Ben Lachhab, Nigerian Maleek Berry and Ihab Amir. Cal Vin is the only Zimbabwean up for a nomination in the pan African awards.
