Wicknell Reacts To Arrest Reports

Controversial businessman, Wicknell Chivayo has denied reports that he was arrested. This follows newspaper headlines that the flamboyant Wicknell was accused of fraud. He went live on his Instagram to deny the allegations.

In his video he explained that he had gone camping and hunting with friends in the national park and had switched off his phone. He shared that he was disappointed to see that Zimbabweans were happy about his arrest.

He posted, “Why so much hatred? The one time I decide to go hunting with friends, I come back and find the whole country celebrating my supposed arrest…Arrested for what ? Since when do successful business people get arrested for no reason? SMH! That’s why most of you never make it. Why would you celebrate someone else’s demise. I know how to deal with all you haters SUCCESS IS ALWAYS THE BEST REVENGE.”
