Govt Invites 2018/19 Presidential Scholarship Applications

The Presidential Scholarship is now open for 2018/2019. The announcement was made by the Minister of State for Government Scholarships in the Office of the President and Cabinet Christopher Mushohwe.

He stated that government is inviting students who want to pursue graduate, post graduate and PhD courses. These will be offered under the Presidential Scholarships Programme for the 2018/19 academic year.

The scholarships will be offered under the Africa Scholarship Scheme by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

However the scholarships do not include medical, paramedical (nursing/ physiotherapy/anaesthesia) and fashion courses.

He said eligible applicants can register directly on the official website and submit the applications online.

The last date of submission of the online applications is February 10, 2018.
