Souljah Love Assaults Wife, Bounty Lisa

Zimdancehall artist Souljah Love has been reported to have assaulted his wife Bounty Lisa. Just when we thought that Zimdancehall’s royal couple were moving to their happy after, this comes in.

Local newspaper, Daily News, reported that the Pamamonya Ipapo hit maker hit his wife with an iron bar.

It’s reported that turned violent and went on a rampage after taking an undisclosed drug. The dancehall chanter assaulted his wife under allegations that Bounty Lisa his wife of infidelity and of carrying another man’s child.

However, Bounty Lisa denied the accusation saying that she was not even pregnant. She blamed the unknown drug for causing Souljah Love to become paranoid.

Speaking to the Daily News, Bounty Lisa said:

“He threw my bags out of the house, dragged me into the house and started hitting me with an iron bar.

He sent his brother to buy a pregnancy test kit whose results were negative. Everybody in the house saw the result but I was already being assaulted.

Problems started around October last year when he began taking this particular drug and would allege there were people in the house but many of us who were living with him in the house did not see these people.”

The article is accomapnied with a graphic photo of a battered Lisa. The Zimdancehall songstress is bruised and has bloodied clothes.

Bounty Lisa later reported the assault at Rhodesville Police Station in Harare. The couple was later counselled at the station.

Bounty is reported to have forgiven her husband. Bounty Lisa’s father Phineas Musenyi said that Lisa will not be returning to her husband’s place until the matter is resolved together with his relatives.

Soul Jah Love paid $9 000 lobola for his wife Bounty Lisa in August last year. The two have had a long on and off relationship but have managed to reconcile.
