Zimdancehall braces for clash against Sungura

Local Zimdancehall artists are set for a clash against Sungura musicians. The clash will not be on stage but rather on the football field where musicians will battle it out in what is expected to be a grand occassion at Dzivarasekwa stadium this Saturday.

The Zimdancehall artists appear bullish ahead of their clash against their Sungura counterparts if social media posts are anything to go by. In an image posted on instagram Shinsoman and DJ Fantan are seeing holding a ball as they declare war on their Sungura counterparts ahead of Saturday’s clash which is being hosted by Chipaz.

Not much is known about the skills that DJ Fantan possesses but Shinsoman is renowned for having been a good footballer growing up before chasing a musical career. The name Shinsoman itself was derived from the type of shin guards the Zimdancehall artist wore during his days as a footballer. Also renowned for their footballing skills on the Zimdancehall team is King Shaddy who has appeared on musical videos while exhibiting his silky footballing skills.

As for the Sungura team Peter Moyo will be the most lethal player in their team. When away from stage Peter Moyo turns out for H-Metro and is renowned for having great pace ball control and an eye for goal. Saturday is expected to be a carnival atmosphere at Dzivarasekwa stadium where Sungura and Zimdancehall artists will battle for honours on the football field.
