Kadewere on target for Olympique lyon

Warriors forward Tinotenda Kadewere maintained his rich vein in form after scoring the decisive winner in Olympique Lyon’s 1- win over Angers this evening. Kadewere was today thrust into the starting 11 and did not disappoint as he grabbed the vital goal which made the difference.

With Lyon having missed a host of chances and with the game seemingly headed for a nil all draw Kadewere showed composure inside the box 10 minutes from time after chest controlling before firing home from close range.

The win steered Lyon into second place with 20 points, 4 behind log leaders Paris Saint Germain who lost 3-2 to Monaco on Friday. Kadewere’s strike was his third goal in two matches after scoring a brace in Lyon’s 2-1 victory over St Ettiene before the international break.

Kadewere appears to have found his feet at Olympique Lyon where he has earned heaps of praises from his coach. Tino who was on target in Zimbabwe’s 3-1 loss to Algeria and featured in the reverse fixture which ended 2 all has also emerged as an important player for the Warriors.
