President Mnangagwa Listed On TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People In The World

Another form of recognition for Zimbabwe on a global platform and this time it’s his excellency, President Emmerson Mnanagwa. President Mnangagwa has been listed on TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential people in the world. Mnangagwa is and The Daily Show host,South African comedian Trevor Noah are the only Africans listed.

The Zimbabwean president is listed in the leaders category, alongside US president Donald Trump and Prince Harry. President Mnangagwa was endorsed by a write-up by Zimbabwean pastor and activist, Evan Mawarire.

Mawarire spoke highly of President Mnangagwa. He shared about the events that led to the resignation of former president Robert Mugabe. He added that, the first 100 days, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa spoke of re-engaging, forgiveness, democracy and unity.”

The TIME 100 list features individuals recognised for changing the world, regardless of the consequences of their actions. This year’s list include Tiffany Haddish, Rihanna and Oprah Winfrey. Individuals or a group of people are exclusively chosen by TIME editors with nominations coming from the TIME 100 alumni and the magazine’s international writing staff.
