Ex Q, Six Zimbabweans Nominated for Diaspora Awards

Six Zimbabweans have been nominated for the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA). Leading the pack with two nominations is Jah Prayzah.

Other nominees include Shashl, Brian Soko, Ammara brown, Ex Q and Winky D.

The MTM camp has two of their artists up for the Best Male Southern Africa. Ammara Brown and newcomer Shashl are nominated in the Best Female Southern Africa category. Grammy award winning producer Brian Soko is nominated for the Crossing Boundaries With Music Award. Dancehall maven Winky D competes against Africa’s top acts in the Best Dancehall/Reggae act. Jah Prayzah is also nominated for Best Live Act.

The awards will be held in Dallas, Texas on October 7th, this year.
