Elvis Moyo seals move to Dynamos

By Geronimo News

Dynamos have maintained their aggression on the transfer market after they, on Monday, announced the signing of defender Elvis Moyo from Bulawayo Chiefs.

After letting go of last season’s captain Patson Jaure, the Glamour Boys have now strengthened their backline with the acquisition of Moyo.

The defender’s signing comes a few days after rock solid defender Frank Makarati extended his stay at the Blue Army.

Having had stints with FC Platinum, Chippa United and Bulawayo Chiefs, Moyo will be looking to add grit to the Dynamos defense and make use of experience gained over the years as he seeks to become a key component in DeMbare’s revival.

Moyo’s signing will add depth to the Dynamos left back position where the player is expected to battle it out with Tinotenda Muringai who featured regularly for the Glamour Boys last season.

Dynamos are on a rebuilding exercise following the departure of Tonderayi Ndiraya who is now with newly promoted Simba Bhora.

To date DeMbare have managed to tie down Moyo, Arthur Musiiwa, Nyasha Chintuli, Tendayi Matindife, and Eli Ilunga who proved a handful while at Black Rhinos.

Having started pre-season training before the Christmas break, Dynamos are looking to fast track their transfer business so as to give new gaffer Herbert Maruwa adequate time to prepare the squad ahead of the 2023 season.

With the Premier Soccer League yet to release dates of when the 2023 season will begin, clubs are seeking to be adequately prepared when the announcement is made.

Since the turn of the New Year, DeMbare have been engaged in intense training and the acquisition of new players is set to bolster a squad which will want to make an impression in the forthcoming season.
