Blessing Chimanga Will Give Fans An  Exprience In A Live Concert

Blessing Bled Chimanga is set to record his 2nd album titled ‘Show Me The Way’. This will be a follow up to the internationally acclaimed musician’s 2015 debut album.

The album will be live recorded on the 4th of November 2017 at Theater in the Park in Harare.

The album will have12 powerful tracks which will have diverse music styles and languages to be able to capture a wide range of audience.

The touring artist promises to deliver a great concert that will be documented and recorded on CD and DVD. The double package will be released before end of the year as Bled’s birthday gift to the world.

The big question could be why do a live recording for this album? The answer is it is important to capture the energy and power that Bled and band delivers in every concert and this is one signature of Bled. The live recording will allow people to experience this and also be able to be captured in the moment. A live recording also allows 100% participation from the audience and this also a key signature in every Bled Concert. “It has always been our vision to do a live recording and capture this motion and rare moments of inspiration live and direct and documented for life. Lastly we feel its high time to produce something unique and fresh to the audience both local and the international community.”

Bled last recorded his first album in 2015 titled Dreams and this came with hit songs such as Maruva Enyika and Tirivanhu vamwe. The first album was received and did well especially in the international scene and opening opportunities for Bled and band. This new album to be recorded will have the mandate to open even bigger opportunities for Bled and see him on the global market on a big scale. The objective also of this new album is to stamp the identity of bled in the sound of the music, content and full act.

The New Album will be Titled “SHOW ME THE WAY” and this is driven from an inspiration of asking God the next step, the next idea, the next plan and the title song really explains and brings out the conversation of one asking God the way. The album also has some love songs and a song about AFRICA which encourages peace and happiness. I am honoured to be having some guest musicians to feature on some songs. We will feature my crazy brother Dereck ‘Godobori’ Mpofu, the crazy percussionist Othnell ‘Mangoma’ Moyo and Rumbidzo a deep spoken word artist featuring on the set on some of the songs.

Other exciting things to expect about this recording is it will have a 10 piece band with a unique setup that includes a brass section, multiple backing vocalists, a 2nd marimba and a tight percussion section. Already the band setup will give assurance to the uniqueness in sound and delivery. Its promising to be a night full of energy and exciting moments.
