Pics! Inside Janet Manyowa’s ‘Grateful’ Album Launch

Janet Manyowa has been promoting her album ‘Grateful’ for months. During the promotion it was highlighted that the album launch would set the bar high. Ko and behold it the concert lived up to expectation.

Janet Manyowa filled up the Celebration Centre auditorium during the launch of  her second album. On 13 October all roads led to the prestigious church were Janet fellowships.

The line up included Pastor G, Thembalami, Dr Tumi, Pastor Bonnie and the Celebration Choir. South African based media personality and actress Mbo Mahocs was the MC alongside Star FM’s Phathisani and KVG.

Clive “Mono” Mukundu, who attended the launch shared a congratulatory Facebook post. Mono described it as “the first sold out gospel gig in a long time.”

An innovative artiste seeking to feed local gospel fans in a highly-starved market,  she said the event would be turned into an annual affair featuring international and local gospel acts.

Janet has been riding high on her singles ‘Ndomutenda Nei?’ and ‘Muchengeti’ featuring Shingisayi Suluma. Check out the photos from the Grateful album launch below:
