Jairos Jiri vibes take Zim dancehall by storm

Chillspot records continues to set the trend when it comes to Zim dancehall after recently roping in a group known as Jairos Jiri vibes. The group which is made up of two blind artists has captured the attention of many following the release of a track titled “tokavira mberi”.

After the groups first piece of Zim dancehall work chillspot were quick to announce the arrival of an exciting new group on their instagram page. The arrival of a new group onto the Zim dancehall scene reignites memories of Paul Matavire who captured the attention of the Zimbabwe music industry despite being blind. Matavire rose to fame in the 1980’s when he joined the Jairos jiri Band in the Bulawayo at the Jairos Jiri Rehabilitation centre. He went on to become a music superstar and will be remembered by fans upto this day.

The emergence of Jairos Jiri vibes has brought excitement to the local music scene with the group defying all odds by venturing into a genre that no other blind artist had in the past dared to enter.

Apart from the emergence of Jairos Jiri vibes chillspot is currently engaged in several projects. Chillspot has announced the release of a video collection which is called sawa sawa. Chillspot has also announced the return of Ras Caleb who has a brand new video titled “Rasta” which features Makido and Trevor Hall.

Bazooker, Uncle Epaton and Poptain are other artists that are involved the production of videos that will be released soon.
