A song dedicated to cyclone Idai victims

Urban Grooves artists have dedicated a song to the mourning victims of Cyclone Idai. The song features Trevor dongo, Sani Makhalima, Roki, Cindy Munyavi, Leornad Mapfumo and Diana Samukange. The song was produced by Lazzie T.

“Idai Watumwa Nani” is a song dedicated to people affected by the Cyclone. In Zimbabwe the cyclone did not affect the whole country but in the Chipinge and Chimanimani area. Many people died while some lost their houses crops and animals.

People are donating to the victims and Zim artists have shown their kindnes by dedicating songs , donating food, clothes, clean water. Artists such as Jah Prayzah, Tytana, and many others have been very helpful in the provision of assistance for the Cyclone victims.

Sanii Makhalima is one of Zim’s best urban grooves artists together with Roki. The two are the pioneers of the genre having started singing long back. The Song features all the urban grooves giants. The urban grooves artists have shown their love and mercy to the victims of the Cyclone Idai.

They are also doctors who volunteered to help the victims of the cyclone. The doctors treated the injured for free and provided medication. Churches and schools have also been helping by donating food and clothes.
