Confirmed! Zodwa Is Finally Coming To Zimbabwe

If there’s ever an individual who has the influence to cause conversation, it is Zodwa Wabantu. The South African socialite and dancer have been confirmed that she will be in the country this coming week. She returns to Bulawayo on Thursday for another appearance at Club Connect.

Zodwa who has been cleared by the censorship board of Zimbabwe is scheduled to perform at the three clubs. She will tour Zimbabwe where she will make appearances in three different cities. On Friday she will perform at Private Lounge in Harare and in Mutare at Club 263 on Saturday.

Show organizer, Devine Assignments director, Biggie Chinoperekwei said Zodwa was expected to arrive in Bulawayo on Thursday. He explained that Zodwa was meant to make her appearance back in September. This was around the same time as the Harare International Carnival. Due to many controversies, Zodwa ended up not even performing at the carnival.

“We decided to postpone her visit as we didn’t want her to offend people at the carnival who may not understand her entertainment,” said Chinoperekwei. “When we host our events, we always ensure that they go to the right crowd. The carnival attracts a diverse crowd including children so she could not be part of it,” he added.
