Extra large release “EP”

Popular urban grooves group Extra large has released an EP titled Daira Phone. Among popular tracks which are expected to attract a lot of traction among fans is the song titled Penjeni which features Oskid. The track outlines the reality of life with a wife revealing she needs some form of compensation given the great work she has embarked on in giving birth to 2 children.

In the track the wife reveals having incurred injuries during the birth of two children and thus appeals for compensation. Extra Large had gone quiet and the release of an EP will be great news for the groups followers. Extra large is a renowned local group which rose to fame following the release of the track titled “Uri Roja”.

Extra Large were among those that pioneered the urban grooves genre following the implementation of the 70 precent local content policy which was established during the days when professor Jonathan Moyo was still the Minister of Information and Publicity. Extra Large last year made a dramatic comeback after releasing an album titled “The Truth”. The album was released at a time fans were raising concern over the relevance of the group given the emergence of the Zim dancehall genre which has been enjoying widespread airplay on local radio stations.

With Zim dancehall still dominating it will be interesting to see how much traction Extra Large will get from their new EP. Upon the release of their new EP the urban grooves group was quick to spread the word on social media with the hope it will get popularity from urban grooves fans as well as the general populace.
