Ammara remembers her late father

Songbird Ammara Brown took down to memory lane as she shared a picture with her father, the late Andy Brown. The picture invoked a lot of emotion with most people sadly reminiscing on the golden days of the late star who passed away nearly 7 years ago. Chengeta Brown also remembered her father and shared a picture of him.

Andy Brown was one of the best musicians in Zimbabwe. His songs included Mawere Kongonya, Daisy and Chigaro Chamambo. Andy Brown shared the stage with the likes of Miriam Makeba, Boom Shaka and Koffi Olomide. He was famous for his husky voice and electric live performances.

Andy Brown passed away after being unwell for some time. Ammara’s emotional tribute reminded the nation of it’s loss of an icon who was a true son of the soil. Andy Brown’s legacy still lives on and his music has never stopped being played as if he was still alive.

The 15th of March would have been the birthday of the late singer. Indeed it was a sad day for Ammara and the nation as memories could be vividly remembered. Whilst Ammara might have been remembering Andy Brown on a personal note, the whole nation could think nothing more but his refreshing and energetic shows as well as his well composed songs.
