Misred showered with praises
Prominent radio and television personality misred was showered with praises on a day she celebrated her birthday. Misred stormed onto the media scene at Zi-fm where she has competently anchored shows that have attracted a huge audience. Misred has also been involved in television work, serving as a presenter on Coke on the beat.
Popular Zimdancehall star Enzo Ishall wrote “@imisred samantha,i remember when i met you early last year,in that period i was slowly rising to fame but i didnt believe in my self. You believed in me Sam and i kinda challenged myself to make people like you proud… And then we became friends,you didnt give up,you would call when i needed you the most and would give the best advice . Several other messages were awash on social media as misred underlined her supremacy on the media scene. MisRed joined The Ignition team at Zifm in October 2013 and immediately established herself as an iconic presence on the airwaves alongside her co-host Tonderai Katsande aka “TK”.
Since then she has been a regular feature of mainstream drive-time radio in Zimbabwe, also handling research, production, high profile interviews and has contributed to the steady rise in the show’s ratings, leading The Ignition to become the highest rated breakfast radio show in Zimbabwe.
she has been involved as a television presenter on local television as well as a correspondent for international events such as the MTV Africa Music Awards and The Lake of Stars Festival among others, putting together interviews with celebrities like Trey Songz, Tiwa Savage, Khuli Chana, P-Square, French Montana and others.
