ICYMI:Makandiwa Donates $30k To Chikurubi Prison
Remember when Makandiwa “prophesied” that Zimbabwe would need more jails because of the economic state in Zimbabwe? Well, he’s leading by example kind of.
The UFIC leader and his wife Prophetess Ruth this week donated food to Chikurubi Maximum Security Prison and handed over a water system they constructed at the prison’s farm.
Makandiwa donated $30k worth of groceries which included cooking oil, sugar beans, matemba, sugar, soap and the water system.
The groceries were handed over by the church’s Agape Family Care (AFC) charity department which was founded by Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa who is its chairperson.
“As Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service management, we appreciate and honor the role played by the Christian world in assisting our organization in the welfare of inmates, said the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services Deputy Commissioner General Agrey Huggins Machingauta.
