Brendan Galloway impresses for Everton

Zimbabwean born defender Brendan Galloway starred in Everton’s 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion on Monday. Following a great start to the season a injury against Manchester City saw the toffees defender on the sidelines for some weeks.

Galloway has however made a great comeback from injury as he produced a startling performance that could easily have earned him the man of the match accolade on Monday evenining.

Starting in the left back position Galloway had an impressive game which saw him winning 11 duels and making two interceptions. On the ball Galloway looked equally impressive with a high percentage of completed passes.

The Zimbabwean born defender has been touted as one of the defenders that could feature prominently for England in the near future. Galloway has already represented England at junior level.

The lanky defender grew up in Zimbabwe where he attended school at St Michael’s before migrating to England.
