South African rapper Cassper Nyovest recently poured his heart out and confessed his deep working relationship with Zimbabweans. The rapper admitted that he had so much respect and love for Zimbabweans and that his crew was mainly comprised of people from Zim. The music artist wrote, “Zimbabwe is so close to my heart. Half of my team are Zimbabwean. Such intelligent, loyal and hard working people. 1 love 1 Africa”.
The message was translated into a love letter by most of his Zimbabwean followers who quickly showed him some love in return. Most comments were centred around the live that Zim citizens also have fo the rapper.
Indeed Cassper’s team has a lot of people from Zim including his keyboardist Almonte Mthombeni. He was born and grew up in Bulawayo. He was instrumental in spearheading Cassper’s #Fill up the dome campaign. Other team members are also from Zimbabwe.
It has also been verified by most people that Zimbabweans are indeed hardworking and loyal. A lot of people who have left the country for greener pastures are making a mark on the international scene. These include personalities such as Tino Chinyani, Danai Gurira and Tinashe among others. Cassper’s sentiments truly speak to the nature of most Zimbabweans.
