Jah Prayzah and Ti Gonzi raise speculation.

Musicians Jah Prayzah and T Gonzi have raised speculation that the two might be working on something together. A recent image of the two has fuelled rumours that there is work in progress involving the hitmakers.

T Gonzi posted am image of himself and Jah Prayzah with the caption, “Was at military touch studios today. Full stop”. This quickly escalated into a social media debate over the involvement of the two in a massive project. Although T Gonzi did not say anything further, his fans were quick to jump to the conclusion that he is working with Jah Prayzah.

Military Touch Movement is a brand name for a group of Zimbabwean artistes including Jah Prayzah. These include ExQ, Andy Muridzo, Nutty O and Tahle wedzinza. They have their own studio.

T Gonzi seems to be on an upward surge in his career this year. His collaboration with Ishan for the song Kure kure has been acclaimed as one of the best ever hits of 2019. Even the video has been commended for the creativity involved. T Gonzi seemed to have lost relevance when he spent months in ICU early this year after being assaulted by robbers. He has however defied odds and made a major comeback. He has been dishing out hit after hit.

A collaboration between T Gonzi and Jah Prayzah will certainly produce great results. The fusion of hip hop and afro fusion sounds can only result in a masterpiece. Jah Prayzah has previously collaborated with artists from different music genres. He once worked on a song together with gospel group Vabati vajehovha on the song Fambai naro. He also did a collaboration with the late Oliver Mtukudzi on the song Sisiriya.
