Top 5 Zim collabos with international artists.

Most local musicians are making waves on the international music scene. Some of them have even scored gigs with international artists. Here is a list of Zimbabwean musicians who have mangaed to collaborate with other artists from beyond our borders.

1 Ammara Brown and Mr Eazi

Ammara Brown is now a household name globally. She has managed to put herself on the regional and international map. Her collaboration with Nigerian singer Mr Eazi came as no suprise. They produced a hit song called ‘Svoto’. The song was a chart topper. The video which was shot in South Africa was also acclaimed as one of the best videos in Africa.

2 Buffalo souljah and Nasty C

Buffalo souljah is no stranger to collaborate Inga with big names from all over the world. His duet with Nasty c was however one of the high points in his career. They were paired together on the popular show Coke Studio Africa and produced a song called ‘Belong’.

3 Winky D and Beenieman.

Zimdancehall artist Winky D teamed up with Jamaican singer Beenieman to releases a song called ‘My woman’. The song still dominates at parties and gatherings.

4 Trevor Dongo and Shayman Shaizo

Trevor Dongo and Souljah love joined forces with Zambian artist Shayman Shaizo to produce the song ‘African girl’s. The fusion of Zambian soulful lyrics and the Zimabawean love lyrics propelled the song to another level.

5 Jah Prayza and Yemi Alade.

Jah Prayzah has collaborated with a pot of artists from outside Zimbabwr. He collaborated with Nigerian Patoranking for the song ‘Follow me’, with Tanzanian Diamond Platinumz for the song ‘Watora mari’, with Jamaican Jah currently for the song ‘My Angel’s, with South African powerhouse Mafikizolo for the song ‘Sendekera’ and Niderian Yemi Alade for the song ‘nziyo yerudo’. This has made him one of the renowned Zimbabweans music ambassadors. Jah Prayzah has been positively hailed for the use of Shona in all his collaborations
