Dynamos in massive turnaround

Zimbabwe’s most popular team Dynamos Football club appears to be ticking the right boxes despite football being put on hold owing to the covid-19 pandemic which has left players without kicking a ball in a competitive environment in 2020.

Despite the inactivity, a spark however seems to have been ignited from somewhere, with the glamour boys pursuing a path which has excited fans across the country.

In recent weeks dembare has rolled out a digitalization programme, with the club establishing official communication channels. A vibrant and appealing website, twitter, facebook, and instagram account have all been put in place with supporters giving a thumbs up to the new developments.

It has not just been the setting up of the platforms but rather the manner in which they have been run which has captured the attention of the football fraternity. Regular club interviews, images of players both current and past and frequent updates has ignited hope the club is headed in the right direction.

World over big clubs generate a significant amount of revenue through advertising accrued from digital platforms and given the stature of Dynamos, dembare is expected to in the near future begin generating revenue from platforms such as Youtube, its website as well as Facebook and Twitter.

As developments continue to unfold the rumour mill has linked former sports caster Yvonne Mangunda with a role at the glamour boys. Mangunda recently bade farewell to Star FM listeners with social media groups suggesting the sportscaster is headed for Dynamos where she is set to head the communications department.
