1. She Steals Your Food

This one is minor, sure, but boy can it get under a guy’s skin. Say you’re out for dinner and it’s time to order dessert. You look down the menu and select something mouthwatering — a chocolate mousse cake, for example. “Honey, I’m going to have the mousse. What would you like?” “Nothing! I’m full!” But you know what she’s really up to. She’d feel guilty ordering a dessert, even though she wants it, so she opts not to. Then, when that mousse arrives at the table, the waiter has quietly brought a second spoon, and you’ll be lucky to get even half of what you ordered.

2. She’s Chronically Late

A guy we know and his ex used to have an inside joke. There was “time,” the universal measure by which the world operated, and then there was “her time,” which was usually “time” plus 15 to 30 minutes. The more important the deadline  a movie showing, a restaurant reservation, a play the more likely she would be late and the longer she would take to get ready. It got to the point that the dude began lying, telling her the movie was at 8 p.m. when, in fact, it didn’t start till 9 p.m. Notice how we said “ex”? Now you know why.

3. She Uses Sex As A Weapon

If you’ve noticed a pattern in your sex life that goes something like, “We have sex when she’s happy or I’ve done something special for her, but when she’s even slightly upset with me she seems to be ‘too tired,'” there’s a good chance your woman is treating you like a dog and sex like a doggie treat. Worse still, some women are much more blunt about it, and don’t even disguise the fact that they use sex as leverage.

4. She Can’t Put Her Phone Down

OK, ladies, we get it: Your friends and family are important to you. And as such, your phone is important to you, too, and parting with it, even for short periods of time, can cause anxiety. But there comes a time when face-to-face contact becomes more important than checking your Twitter feed, and usually that time is date night.
