Zimbabweans In SA Upset Over OK Zimbabwe’s Failure To Pay Out Money Sent Via SA’s FNB Bank

South African Bank FNB partnered with OK Zimbabwe to make it easier for Zimbabweans in South Africa to send money back home.

It seems as if it hasn’t been the case lately as the Zimbabweans in South Africa are not happy with the treatment their families are being given by OK Zimbabwe.

The service is called the FNB Zimbabwe Money Transfer allows customers of the bank to register for the service and send money back home using their cell phones. The money is picked up by recipients at OK retail stores in Zimbabwe using a valid ID.

One FNB customer complained saying he sent money on Wednesday but the recipient was told by OK Zimbabwe to come back on Friday because they didn’t have cash.

Several people have been sent home with nothing form different OK Zimbabwe branches and told to come back to collect the money which is supposed to be instant.
