Rapper And Producer Brian Soko Nominated for 2015 BMI Hip Hop Awards In Hollywood

Congratulations are in order for Grammy Award winning Producer and Rapper Brian Soko who just scored a nomination from the BMI Hip Hop Awards to be held in Hollywood in two days.

This has been a great year for the American based Zimbabwean rapper and Producer who scooped the Grammy for his work on Beyonce’s hit Drunk In Love earlier this year. Hopefully he continues the trend at the BMI Hip Hop Awards 2015.

This is not the first BMI nomination for the rapper, last year he took home three BMI Awards with his production partners and co-nominees from ‘The Order’ Rasool Diaz and Andrew Proctor.

This invitation-only event honors the world’s premier songwriters, producers and publishers of the most-performed R&B/hip-hop songs of the previous year, R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, Producer and Publisher of the Year.

Soko recently collaborated and produced South African rapper Chad’s new single ‘E.F.T’ to much acclaim in the South African hip hop scene with the record receiving numerous plays and climbing up the charts on YFM, MetroFM , 5FM, ZIFM and Ukhozi FM.
