Zim Celebs Who Bagged Endorsements In 2017

Pursuing one’s passion is one way of earning a living. A lot of celebrities whether actors, musicians or media personalities rely on their talents for a good paycheck. However one’s passion and talents isn’t enough. This is why often many celebrities aim for other businesses. Another way to increase a celebrity’s brand value is by receiving an endorsement. This year and number of Zim celebs found themselves being the brand faces of some of the biggest products and companies. Check out the Zim celebrities who increased their value with Endorsements.

Gilmore Tee

Gilmore Tee’s hardworking finally paid off in 2017. He started his year by becoming a Mandela Fellow. Upon his return from the United States of America he sealed a deal with MTV Base Africa. He became the brand ambassador for MTV Shuga in Zimbabwe. He also scored a radio show with South Africa’s Cliff Central.

Pokello

The Queen of swagger has been the face of Brands for Less Zimbabwe. She went on to get a deal with CiCi Fashions. Motor company Superstructure Cars and technology company Gadget Wide online also signed Pokello to their brands.

Mr Put it in had a great year as he became the brand ambassador for Astra Mobile.

Vimbai Mutinhiri

Miss Vimbai is one of the biggest media brand to come out of Zimbabwe. The pan African media personality scores herself a brand endorsement by Legacy Lifestyle. She also joined a Nigerian entertainment company which also enlisted stars like Don Jazzy and 9ice.

DJ Stavo

The house DJ/producer got on board with telephone and network company TelOne as it’s brand ambassador.

Ruvheneko

Ruvheneko turned her lemons into lemonade in 2017. The award winning media personality scored two shows on two radio stations. In addition she is the face of eyewear company Optinova and TelOne.

Cindy Munyavi

Cindy Munyavi is one of the smartest music brands in Zimbabwe. She makes strategic moves that empower her business. The multi award winning entertainer signed a deal with mobile company GTel. The company used her smash hit ‘Setter Pace’ for promoting their brand.

Hillzy

Cape Town based R&B/hip hop artist Hillzy has had a winning 2017. The artist signed a deal with Adidas South Africa for whom he modelled for the brand.

Ameera Khan

Ameera a.k.a Kicking it with Mimi proved that blogging isn’t a vain pursuit. She became the second Zimbabwean Legacy Lifestyle ambassador.

Tino Chinyani

Good looks can get you very far. Tino Chinyani can attest to that as he scored himself some clothing label deals.
