Be Part Of The African Entrepreneurship Exchange: Webinar

The African Entrepreneurship Exchange 2016 is a combined effort of Makamba Online and various business partners and sponsors within the corporate arena. The purpose of these events, which are to be held quarterly, is to provide a broad networking platform for African businesses with an ultimate focus on developing and uplifting emerging entrepreneurs and opening entrepreneurship opportunities within Africa.

The principal emphasis of these events is to provide Africans across the continent with a platform to network, assist, uplift others and exchange thoughts that embolden emerging African entrepreneurs in businesses. The events will support existing and emerging entrepreneurs and those in the SME arena with financial advisory services, business consultancy services, business strategy services and mentorship.

The event deliberations will be around the following theme: The Entrepreneurial Eco-System. The Entrepreneurial Eco-system includes topics including but not limited to; Markets, Access to Finance, Policy frameworks and any other factors that have an impact on African Entrepreneurs.

Makamba Online is excited to announce, that due to an overwhelming display of interest from across the continent, and due to the online nature of our audience, the inaugural African Entrepreneurial Exchange will be streamed and packaged for our African audience as an Online Webinar.

Set to be streamed on 25 February 2016 at 10:00 (CAT), the event will engage a panel of business experts on the theme “The Entrepreneurial Eco-System”. The principal emphasis of this specific Webinar is to give a platform to African entrepreneurs and allow them access to influential business people with a focus on entrepreneurial knowledge sharing. The event will provide Africans around the continent the opportunity to engage via online debate, and by submitting questions in a forum discussion addressed at the panel.

Key note address

Prior to the Webinar, on 19 February, a key note address by Mr. Zenzo Lusengo, Executive Director, AMB Capital, will be broadcast via MakambaOnline.com. In his address, Mr Lusengo will set the tone for the Webinar and flesh out all the issues and talking points pertaining to the Entrepreneurial Eco-System. AMB Capital was founded in 1995 to support the economic transformation that was to follow the political change in South Africa. AMB Capital, as one of the pioneers of black economic empowerment, has a long and distinguished track record of providing innovative financial solutions to emerging and established corporates and institutions.

The panellists

On 25 February, the panel who will further explore and engage the theme “The Entrepreneurial Eco-System”, will be made up of the following industry leaders:

Dr James Makamba – Founder of Makamba online and Chairman of Telecel Zimbabwe.
Ms. Nawaal Nolwazi Mdluli – Marketer by profession, entrepreneur by nature and owner of Kwenta Media.
As well as other business leaders and personalities.
