Winky D’s Band Members Beaten Up At Show Entrance

If you think your weekend was rough, hear about Winky D’s first then you can decide who had it worst. The dancehall King is not happy about the treatment his band received at a recent gig and he has taken to social media to let out his frustrations.  did not the best weekend.

Winky D’s band members were allegedly beaten up by officers when they tried to access the venue through the VIP gate. “They raised a distress call to management; upon which Elder Banda reacted swiftly to try and solve the issues. However,management had to endure the full malice of 3 officers who assaulted him with baton sticks till he passed out”, he wrote on his Facebook page.

Winky D recalls the moments before he was meant to hit the stage saying he watched his band member helplessly struggling in pain.

“He was discharged later and referred for further specialist attention. We remain hopeful that he gets better and did not sustain irreversible damage. can’t count the pain we feel right now.Lets pray for better Gaaaaaafa Life”, he said.

Hopefully he gets well soon and Winky D can go back on stage where he belongs.
