Mighty Warriors Through To The 2016 Olympic Games

Mighty Warriors made history over the weekend when they qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games. This is the first time that any Zimbabwe team has qualified for a global football tournament.

The historic moment came after the team beat Cameroon 1-0 in the final qualifier when Rudo Neshamba scored in the 8th minute into thew game which was the only goal scored.

Zimbabwe and South Africa will be the only two teams representing Africa come the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio after Banyana Banyana defeated Equatorial Guinea in Bata 1-0.

Congrats to the Mighty Warriors for making the nation proud and hopeful again.
