Legendary Thomas Mapfumo Makes A Grand Entrance

It took 14 years for Thomas Mapfumo to return to his beloved Zimbabwe. The legendary musician landed in Zimbabwe on Sunday night. Mukanya was welcomed by scores of fans who have been waiting for his return. He arrived at the Robert Mugabe International Airport wearing the flag around his neck.

Mukanya will host Zimbabwe’s biggest show at the Glamis Stadium on April 28. He will be joined by legend and close friend Oliver Mtukudzi with the legendary Black Spirits. Both legends will also be joined by Winky D, sons of legends Sulumani Chimbetu and Gary Tight among others.

Most cheap tickets have been sold out. The show promises to be packed as Zimbabweans welcome Mukanya.
