The Tsviriyo singer took to Facebook as one does these days, and extended his gratitude in the most touching beautiful way.

First things or people in this matter first, Jah Prayzah thanked the Vice President of Zimbabwe, VP Emmerson Mnangagwa for his presence saying that kind of recognition is humbling.

Next it was “Baba Mtukudzi” as he calls him, who he said is one of his greatest inspirations who has inspired him since he started writing. He thanked the Zimbabwean legend for his support.

Jah Prayzah then thanked all the other Ministers and “important” people who came out to support him on his special day.

Mungadai makaita mamwe mabasa enyu musi iwoyu asi makauya kuzonditsigira, Mwari akukomborerei”, he said thanking his industry friends who performed with him.

He went on to thank his hardcore fans who he calls “masoja” who have been with him in his journey saying they are one of a kind, he went as far as calling them family.

Jah thanked the show promoters, The Zimbabwe Defense Forces and his team. Finishing off the list were the MCs of the night, Ruvhi Pari, Themba Mkanda and Tich Mawoni saying “vakaita zvinhu zvityise”.

If only they were all grateful like Jah Prayzah, this world would be a better place, right?! Now we’re thinking we should’ve gone too.
