Musician Ammara Brown is set to light up the Polo Arena in Zambia this coming weekend alongside South African hip hop sensation Nasty C.
Ammara excitedly announced in her Instagram page that she will be perfoming in Zambia in Africa day. She advised her fans to brace themselves for a show stopping perfomance and captioned that ‘winter is coming’. Ammara will share the stage with Nasty C, another big name in the music industry in Africa.
The duo is expected to deliver a breathtaking and awesome show as they are both renowned for their lyrical and vocal prowess. Ammara Brown is one of the most popular female artists in Zimbabwe having started her singing career at a tender age. Nasty C is also a big name in South Africa after having been the youngest ever recipient at the 2015 Hip hop awards. Both artists have perfomed at the Coke Studio Africa in Kenya.
The perfomance on Africa day signifies the importance of bringing together African artists to celebrate Africa day. It highlights the spirit of unity amongst African folks. Ammara Brown has previously perfomed in other African countries such as Malawi and South Africa where she received a warm welcome.
Ammara Brown has released songs such as ‘Watchu want’,’Svoto’ and ‘Bhachura’ which were all chart toppers. She has collaborated with artists such as Tytan, Chengeto and ExQ.
