Alick Macheso patners South African singer Busiswa.

Prominent Sungura musician Alick Macheso seems to be upping his game and increasing his fan base. The “Madhuve wangu” hitmaker is set to stage a show together with South African house music star Busiswa in South Africa. The show will take place on the 24th of August.

Other artists who will perform at the show include DJ Chido, Ms Cosmo,DJ Chase and DJ Backspin among others. The combination of Baba Sharo and Busiswa seems odd, a fusion of Sungura and house music but fans are thrilled at the upcoming show. Macheso has been revamping himself and his career ever since he came back into the music scene recently after a brief pause. He has even promised to make a full video album, something that he has never done before.

Baba Sharo and Busiswa are set to blow fans away in South Africa. Both artists are known for their electric dance skills and impressive stage presence. They are also both good singers with several accolades to their names.

Alick Macheso has released songs such as Madhuve wangu, Shedia and Chikuru kurarama. He rose to fame with his slomo dance.

Local artists have been making progress in terms of collaborating with other regional artists on shows. This is highly commendable as it markets Zim music on the global market.
