Kudakwashe Mahachi makes winning debut
Zimbabwean international Kudakwashe Mahachi made a winning debut as Golden Arrows edged Ajax Cape Town 1-0 to progress to the Telkom Knockout quater finals.
Mahachi who was this week cleared to play for Arrows made the starting eleven and looked impressive for Arrows Mahachi who was substituted in the 82nd minute should be happy at getting game time after disappointing spell with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Mahachi could have scored but had his close range effort denied by Anssi Jaakkola in the 23rd minute.
Gladwin Shitolo scored the winner for Golden Arrows who will be delighted to have marched into the last eight of the Telkom knockout competition.
