Tererai Mugwadi Fails To Pay $50 Fine For Insulting Police Officer

Singer Tererai Mugwadi was ordered to pay $50 fine after insulting a police officer at Fife Avenue Police Station.

Mugwadi had been arrested along with her boyfriend last Thursday after they failed to pay the taxi driver who took them home around 1am and were taken to  the police station where Tererai insulted the officer.

The ‘Waenda’ singer allegedly snatched her docket from the officer and shredded it into pieces before cursing at him.

After being ordered to pay $50 fine, Tererai told the court she was unable to pay the fine and she needed more time to find the money. She told the magistrate she only had $10 to her name. Mugwadi was told to pay before Tuesday.
