South African female dj Zinhle is set to ignite the second edition of the Jacaranda music festival in Zimbabwe. The event will take place at Hellenic primary school from 3 to 5 October 2019. The theme for this year is “The city, the people, the music”.
DJ Zinhle will be part of a star studded line up including fellow South African artist Ringo madhlingozi, Ammara Brown, Ishan, Tamy Moyo,T Gonzi, Mokoomba and the Black spirits. Mokoomba have just ended their six month international tour.
The festival will have various activities lined up for the three days. The first day will be characterised by free workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions among other things. This will enable artists to have meaningful conversations with their fans and improve their market base.
The second day will have a music programme starting from 5 pm until midnight. There will be perfomances by Ammara Brown,Bryan K, Black motion, Transit crew and T Gonzi among others. Revellers will be treated to five star perfomances by their favorite artists.
The third day will have an early entertaining start at 11 am. It will feature perfomances by Ringo Madhlingozi, Mokoomba, Tammy Moyo and DJ Zinhle. The festival is expected to attract thousands of people from all over the world. Last year, over six thousand people attended. There will be a special tribute to the late Oliver Mtukudzi.
In order to make it more inclusive, the organizers of the show have designated onearea for children to come and enjoy festivities including entertainment, food and drinks. The festival was organized Ngoma nehosho just like the previous year.
