Jah Prayzah’s manager up for award in the U.S

Keen Mushapaidze, the manager of iconic Zimbabwean singer Jah Prayzah has been nominated for an award in the U.S.A. He is up for an award at the African Entertainment awards. He has been nominated in the category of Best African Talent/Artist managers. Indeed the nomination has been hailed by Jah Prayzah fans as well deserved.

Keen took the reigns from Filda, the former manager of Jah Prayzah. He promised to revamp the singer’s career. In an earlier interview he once stated,”It is my dream and wish, not taking away what others have already done to make this brand (Third Generation band) internationally recognised just like what the legends, Oliver Mtukudzi and Thomas Mapfumo have done in raising our flag high”. The young manager has been living up to his promise as evidenced by Jah Prayzah’s success on the global scale.

Keen holds a degree in marketing. He abandoned his job in the banking sector to join the showbiz business. He was previously awarded Zim manager of the year in 2017. Under his management, Jah Prayzah has made a big name for himself on the African continent. He has managed to collaborate with prominent singers such as Mafikizolo, Diamond Platinumz and David. His songs have received airplay on major platforms such as Trace Africa. He has also managed to stage shows all over the world. Locally he has received endorsements from numerous companies.

Many people are rooting for Keen to win the award. He is up against other renowned managers such as Tlee Moiloa and Mr Puaz.
