Old Mutual opens doors for aspiring singers.

Old Mutual in patnership with DSTV Africa has opened doors for all aspiring music artists in Zimbabwe. It has unveiled a new show called Amazing voices. The show seeks to identify singing talent in Zim and uplidt those who have melodious voices but are failing to get funding to enhance their singing careers. In a recent announcement, it was stated that people can organize themselves in groups of four to eight and come forward. There is no age limit so people of all age groups are elligible to take part in the show. Three groups will be selected to represent the country nin the finals in South Africa. US 100, 000.00 is up for grabs. Pioneers of the new show include veteran radio and television presenter Misred, gospel singer Tembalami and afro fusion singer Selmor Mtukudzi. Zimbabwe boasts of musically gifted people as evidenced by the current calibre of music artists such as Jah Prayzah, making waves on the international scene. Most people have shown great interest nin the show and said they love the concept of organizing themselves into groups. Whilst people have showcased their singing talents on platforms like Starbrite, there was indeed need for other shows to be introduced in order to identify and promote local talent. Old Mutual has been applauded for such a great initiative.
