Zimbabwean beauty queen Pauline Marere rec was recently crowned the queen at the Miss Pan- African contest held in Lagos Nigeria. The talented model beat top contenders from different parts of Africa.
Winning the continental pegeant was a dream one true for the young model. In spite of having lost at a previous continental beauty contest, Pauline was optimistic that she would bring home the trophy this time around. She won US 3000.00, a vehicle, a film acting deal and a trip to Dubai. She gushed at her win and stated that it has always been her been her dream to be an actress. She claimed that at one time she had applied to be cast in a Nollywood movie but was discouraged by her mother who advised her to concentrate on her school work instead.
Pauline expressed gratitude to her sponsor Engineer Peter Mutsinya who paid for her trip and costume. She also thanked Jasper from Ibhu tribe who made her traditional outfit. She said it was simply marvellous and stood out among the rest. Pauline is a top award winning model and has previously won the World Miss University emmisary in Cambodia in 2017 as well as being crowned the queen at the Miss Africa continent pegeant in South Africa in 2018
