Mambo Dhuterere bags his first major award.

Gospel newcomer Mambo Dhuterere bagged his first major award at the recently held Permican awards. He was awarded the traditional song of the year for his song Mweya ndisesekedze. Mambo has been making waves on the music scene with songs such as Reurura which he collaborated with Seh Calaz.

The permican awards are annual gospel awards hosted by prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and his wife. They recognise major players in the gospel music industry.Other winners at the awards included Janet Manyowa who scooped 3 awards for best album of tge year,best songwriter and best video for her song Nyasha Nengoni.

Joyful praise choir also dominated the awards with 4 awards and inister Michael Mahendere bagged two. The legendary award was handed to Diva Mafunga and Shuvai Wutawunashe.

Fans have congratulated the singer for his achievement.
