A lot of times we have things that weigh our spirits down. It is not healthy for one to allow life problems to drag them down. We compile a list of things that possibly take away our strength and how you can overcome them.

1. It is common for people to have constant body battles. The issue of body image has led to some going on rather dangerous and extreme diets.Get comfortable in your skin. You can ask a true friend to tell you what features they genuinely like on your body. Try to absorb and remember three of the things she says. 2. Remove negativity from your life. Look on the bright side whenever you start to feel negative thoughts coming. Learn to savour the good by placing your attention on pleasure as it occurs and enjoying experience as it unfolds. Appreciate the small treasures in life either big or small.

3. Get rid of boring routine habits. They might make us feel comfortable and safe but too much of these and we end up feeling lethargic instead of energised. Even spending our leisure time with the same friends every weekend can make one feel stuck. Rather get out of your comfort zone. Try new adventures to shake things up a little bit. It’s also important to set up small goals and look forward to things.Plan something challenging to do, something that may even scare you at least once a year. Go on that risque girls trip or try meditation.

4. Drink a glass of red wine as it helps red blood vessels to dilate. But do not go for more as this health benefits is forfeited.

5. When you feel sluggish and unhealthy, this may water down your spirits. Most people get depressed because they feel they are not healthy enough. Take good care of your health by limiting sugar intake and having a healthy meal plan on hand. Sugar can add up to twenty years to your age.
