Zim in panic mode over the Coronavirus threat. 129 put on watchlist.

As the Coronavirus threat continues to rock the world the government of Zimbabwe has put in place measures to track and detect the virus in the country. The ministry of health has placed 129 people on a watchlist. These people have been coming in from Corona virus outbreak areas and will be confined to their homes under supervision until 7 February 2020. These people came into the country between 25-28 January 2020. The virus has since been declared a public health emergency by the World Health organization..The Wuhan Coronavirus also known.

2019-nCov was first discovered in Wuhan, central China on December 31 2019. The death toll in China is currently at 170 whilst 7711 case of infection have been reported. This has prompted the Chinese authorities to build a 1000 bed Coronavirus hospital in just 48 hours! The hospital is close to Wuhan and was constructed by 500 workers, engineers, electricians and police.

The virus has spread so much and cases have been reported in Hong Kong, Macau,Japan, Nepal,Singapore,South Korea,Taiwan,Thailand,US and Vietnam. The ministry of health has however warned people not to panick as no confirmed reports have been made yet. The virus has been a major cause for concern.
