“Do not be overcharged” Dairiboard release official pricing list for its products

Dairiboard Zimbabwe has released an official pricing list which has left many people stunned. The company advised that method of payment on all its transactions is the same regardless of the mode of payment used. This comes amid allegations that vendors from the company were overcharging when clients were paying using ecocash. Dairiboard vendors are strewn all over town and sell items such as ice cream, yoghurt, lacto and maheu.

Their fees are different when one is paying using ecocash from those when one is paying using cash. They usually put a percentage for those buying using ecocash. This has been disaaproved by Dairiboard and they distanced themselves from such illicit activities. A number has even been provided for people who would have been overcharged to report. Dairiboard is one of the few companies that are soldiering on in the face of a tough economic crisis. Most companies have since shut down including Olivine.

The major stumbling block for most businesses in the country is the fact that they have to import raw materials from neighbouring countries such as South Africa. The local industry has been virtually reduced to zero. Ironically Zimbabwe used to be the bread basket of Africa, providing raw materials and food to other countries. Goals have indeed shifted and companies such as Dairiboard are struggling to make ends meet. The vendors have been taking advantage of the unsuspecting public and charging in excess of the real prices. Here is the price list of Dairiboard products:
