Comedian Madam boss continues with her campaign to conscientise people on the treatment of their housemaids. Having worked as a maid herself prior to being famous and successful, Madam boss has first hand experience on how some employers can demean their house helpers.
In a recent comic skit, Madam boss is seen asking her maid the whereabouts of her underwear. The poor maid is seen vigorously washing Madam Boss’ lingerie outside, which must have been stocked for quite some time. The maid then laments her ordeal and questions why her employer made her to wash her undergarments.
The comic skit has raised awareness on treatment of maids and most people have commended Madam boss for a job well done with her eye opening work. Most of her fans said that an underwear is a private garment that is supposed to be washed by the wearer and no one else. Others quizzed why a woman in this day and age would remove her pants and stock them up for another woman to wash.
Indeed the skit has become so popurlar that it has thousands of views on Facebook and other online platforms.
This is not the first time that Madam boss has raised such issues. A few months ago, she also did another skit in which she advised employers to treat maids humanely otherwise they will end up being cruel and doing hideous things in their absence. Her list of possibilities included maids using their employer’s toothbrush to clean the toilet, eating food ruthlessly, being cruel to the kids and other unthinkable stuff.
