Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position o Human Resources Manager at the Zimbabwe Passenger Company
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Preparing strategic manpower plans
  2. Formulating human resource policies,procedures and systems
  3. Preparing and monitoring annual human resource budget
  4. Designing training programmes and ensuring training is done according to the programme
  5. Ensuring all labour statutes and regulations are adhered to
  6. Managing the recruitment and selection process
  7. Managing the company’s perfomance and management systems
  8. Managing and maintaining the company’s human resources in line with company policies
  9. Managing employee relations
  10. Advising the company on market remuneration trends and competitive conditions of service
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  11. Degree in Human Resources Management or Social Science
  12. A post graduate qualification such as Higher National Diploma IPMZ or Master’s Degree in Business Administration is an added advantage
  13. At least 7 years post graduate experience of which 3 years should be at management level
  14. Strong knowledge of the labour Act
  15. Excellent attention to detail
  16. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  17. A high degree of emotional intelligence and self awareness
  18. Knowledge of the RBM an SAP is an added advantage
  19. At least 5 years post graduate experience
  20. Experience in the transport industry is an added advantage
  21. Computer literacy
