City council demolishes prophet Freddy’s church

Prophet T Freddy had a stroke of bad luck recently. The famous man of God and founder of Goodness and Mercy ministries had his church demolished by the Harare city council officers. The church is situated in Glen View.

Most people watched in shock as graders plunged through the church irons sheet roof and demolished the whole structure to the ground. There must have been an anomaly with the council that the prophet was supposed to have addressed.

Prophet Freddy rose to fame with his sermons on spiritual eyes. His methods of healing and prophecy have come under scrutiny over the years. The prophet is also a gospel singer and has released songs such as Bag. In his last video, he dresses up as a woman and dinner some make up much to the dismay of gospel music lovers. He was branded a homosexual and he defended himself, saying he was simply being creative and wanted to portray the level of abuse in most households.

The prophet is yet to respond to the demolition of his makeshift church that is attended by scores of people. Harare city council has taken advantage of this lockdown period to clear out informal structures. Tuck shops in Highfield and Mbare have been demolished and roads in town have been neatly marked. They have also been cleaning up streets
