Zim artist tests positive for covid 19

SOUTH Africa-based Afro-Fusion musician William Magwiroto, popularly known as Willionair, has tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).In an interview with a local daily, Willionair said his video director developed a fever on March 22 and he got tested for Covid-19 and the results were positive.

He (Willionair) was then called on March 27 and got tested too since he interacted with his producer between March 15 and 21 and unfortunately, his results came out positive as well. He claimed that he has not developed any COVID-19 symptoms yet.Willionair said prior to that, in early March he was preparing to shoot a video in Johannesburg for his song titled Ndoringa which was produced by Reverb 7.His video director travelled to the United States between February and early March

Willionair was on cloud nine last year after receiving a major endorsement from a South African fashion powerhouse called Zee M collections. He said local companies must promote artist by appointing them brand ambassadors.

Willionair also became popular after penning down a song dedicated to football sensation Khama Billiat. Most people have wished the singer well and advised hito continue taking care of himself in isolation
